Discover Scuba Diving, Lee Kennedy

By JCF • March 31st, 2009

On day 1 of the PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Course (see PADI courses)  Lee, a staff member of a visiting cruise liner, took part in the his first ocean dive.  Caught on video on the shop’s new underwater camera in Carlisle Bay Marine Park.  First seen is a school of French Grunts and a few stray Grey Chromis over the Cornwallis shipwreck (WWII torpedoed wreck), then a shot of Lee in action. Welcome to the club Lee!

What camera are you using?

Can it do Manual White Balance?

Oh Mike, you get me all the time. Just got a new camera and I am sure the white balance can be adjusted but ummm, hmmm, it was day 1, dive 1 and I was just making sure the shutter worked. We need you here to motivate perfection at all times!!

It is an Olympus tough 6000 with underwater housing. Nice little camera, lots of options. There is also my lack of video editing as YET. As i get that I have lots of clips that will be posted, Roger free diving, conch blowing competitions etc.

Love it that you are here to comment at will. Happy divers!
